The laboratory dissolved oxygen electrode separates the platinum cathode, the silver anode, and the electrolyte from the outside world by a thin film, with the cathode normally in almost direct contact with the film. The oxygen diffuses through the membrane at a rate proportional to its partial pressure. The greater the partial pressure, the more oxygen passes through the membrane. As the dissolved oxygen continuously penetrates through the membrane into the cavity, it is reduced at the cathode to produce a current, which is displayed on the meter. Since this current is directly proportional to the concentration of dissolved oxygen, the calibration meter only needs to convert the measured current into units of concentration.
The main characteristics of laboratory dissolved oxygen electrode:
1.The electrode makes the dissolved oxygen measurement mode with automatic compensation of temperature, pressure and salinity, which is more convenient to use and measure;
2.With the electrode calibration sleeve, the polarization time is 3-5min, fast response, accurate measurement;
3.With automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, data storage, timing measurement, RS232 output, clock display, function setting and self-diagnosis information and other intelligent functions;
4.Data stabilization prompt mark;
5.The instrument complies with IP54 dust and splash rating, and all inserts are protected by silicone cap seal.
The laboratory dissolved oxygen electrode is suitable for aquaculture, water source monitoring, sewage treatment and environmental monitoring, and also has applications in education and scientific research.
With three measurement modes: stable measurement display mode, timing measurement mode and continuous measurement mode, can meet the specific requirements of the measurement needs. 600 groups of data stores with time/date display and manual/automatic timing data storage for easy data management. With universal electrode holder and automatic agitator, easy to use. Digital processing technology provides fast, accurate, stable, and higher dissolved oxygen measurements in the measurement range for applications such as basic laboratory testing and teaching.
